Lancia Delta sold as a Chrysler in the US?
Olivier Francois , Lancia CEO, was appointed head of the Chrysler motor division. This might mean collaborations on a high scale, and more precisely the distribution of the Delta model under a Chrysler logo in the United States. With Lancia operating exclusively overseas and Chrysler primarily in North America, the two brands can share products with no marketing issues or discrepancies.
The Fiat 500 and some Alfa Romeos might also arrive in North America under the Chrysler badge, this seems part of a wide scale plan to boost sels in both countries. We all know Italian cars appeal many people around the world, and we also know that on the other hand American drivers usually trust an America name much more. I mean, would your girlfriend mind driving the sweet Fiat 500 as a Chrysler to work and back? My point exactly.
The Lancia Delta is a premium hatchback meant to be a family car of small-medium size, this being the third generation. The Delta series goes back a long time and is best known for its World Rally Championship career in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when it dominated rallying. Note that the car is build on the Fiar C Platform.

LOVE IT. I think this is girl car !!! or a mom car haha
Hmmm I think it would look good on the streets of America. Other opinions?
cool blog btw
Wow, there’s enough spelling errors in this story. It is a Fiat C platform.
Please do not bring the Fiat 500 to the US as a Chrysler badged car! It sells very well around the rest of the world as a Fiat just fine!
The Lancias are fine upscale autos. I could see them as Chryslers.

i agreeeeee! stop with this bs just bring them over better that what dodge and chrysler has to ofeer t the moment ! are you kidding me ! have you guys seen the car in america they all look the same and when you go to a north american car show and you see a european car on the floor and coming over seas how many people reply why!1 that it is niceeee! so why not brung them over look not every one want ot drive big engine cars !! i drive a mini comin off an suv!!!
When I lived in Italy, I learned that ALL new “Italian cars” are either A) Fiats, or B) Volkswagens. And since nobody could afford the Volkswagen Italian cars (Lamborghinis and Bugattis), for practical purposes all Italian cars (Ferraris, Maseratis, Lancias, Fiats, and Alfa Romeos) are Fiats.
Now that Chryslers are also Fiats, why not bring some of these cars over under their own nameplate? There are enough willing buyers for US Spec Alfas and Fiat 500s (to agree with the previous poster)! And who knows, maybe a few of us would rather buy a US Spec Lancia than have it rebadged as a Chysler. Or a Fiat rebadged as a Dodge. How about a Maserati rebadged as a Plymouth?! That will be a cold day in hell.
I know this car perfectly … Lancia is top in Europe for cars of the middle class … be careful when making critical need to know that Europeans often have doubts about American cars … so if you need to critique a Lancia also consider how much dodge chrysler seen in the streets of Europe.
I think it’s Dodge and Chrysler are both beautiful but also the Lancia is no joke.
