Mercedes SLS AMG, Voted Most Attractive Car in Europe
The most attractive car in Europe. As far as we’re concerned, that kind of means the most attractive car in the world. But is most attractive saying most beautiful, or most sexy? Hmm, anyway, back to the subject. Readers of Auto Bild come in hundreds of thousands and originate from 23 countries. That makes it a continental magazine, with a varied and diverse community. You would expect that the German nationalistic spirit wouldn’t apply in this case, but it most definitely did as the Mercedes SLS AMG was voted the most attractive car in Europe.
An extraordinary car by all means, as you can see in the photo gallery included, but still… This car is basically a modern copy of the 300 SL Gullwing of the ’50s, back in the golden days. Pick any Aston Martin and you got a better choice. Ferrari may be too much on the sport side of things to make it in attractiviness tops, still the 458 Italia is surely more popular with the masses – ladies included – than the AMG.
The SLS AMG luxury tourer will start sales will begin in mid-2010 in Europe with a MSRP of €177,310 (including taxes) and in the United States in mid-2011 for less than $200,000.
There it is- relevant or not, biased or not – this is the result of the Auto Bild magazine poll. The rather retro SLS AMG supercar. The interesting part is that this is the the first Mercedes automobile designed in-house by AMG. Mercedes-Benz for the win, that’s what the editor chief or the team must have chanted through the offices.. Feel free to speak your opinion in the comments section.
