G-Power BMW M3 GT2 And BMW M3 Tornado CS – One For The Track, One For The Streets
G-Power has not spilled some champagne after the BMW victory at Nurburgring 24H race, but launched two radical version of the BMW M3
BMW won the 24h race at Nurburgring, an event hailed by all fans and even those dealing with customizing BMW. Thus the German engineers at G-Power reveal two faces of G-Power M3. BMW M3 Tornado is the street version, with a discret tuning, while BMW M3 GT2 S version is like the circuit, although it is approved for public roads. Both models have the same engine under the hood, or rather come with the same modifications to the engine, a compressor that is taken from Alpina B6 GT3, carbon fiber intake and titanium exhaust.

Expressed in numbers, both G-Power M3 develop 600 HP and 405 lb-ft of torque. Values which provide a maximum speed of 205 mph for the DCT transmission and 199 mph for the manual version. The difference is made at the acceleration up to 60. Because M3 GT2 S has a full carbon fiber body kit, plus other parts of the body of lightweight materials, is 330 lbs lighter. Thus the top version reaches 60 in 4.1 seconds, 0.2 seconds less than the Tornado and 0.5 seconds than the stock version.
Aesthetically, both version praise the victory at Nurburgring, wearing the official BMW Motorsport colors, but Tornado keeps the looks close to the stock ones, while GT2 S comes with a very aggressive kit and giant spoiler. In terms of price, the official press release speaks only about GT2 S. It is the most expensive, which will have a starting price of around $170,000.
